Ancient Italian painting from the 18th century. Framework oil on canvas, on the first canvas, depicting a religious subject Saint Catherine of Siena of good pictorial quality. Large size painting with strong visual impact characterized by the particular pose and perspective of the subject. Saint represented with his symbols including the lily, the open book, the crucifix, the stigmata and the crown of thorns (see picture). Framework that has undergone a conservative restoration, two small patches visible on the back and color recovery in some points (see picture).
