Oil on a table of excellent workmanship, signed front and back by Giulio Cisari, represents a landscape of the plain with in the background a mountain chain just mentioned. Born in Como in 1892 is a formidable hand as a woodcut, Cisari participated, between 1911 and 1936, in several national exhibitions, has published handouts and manuals on engraving and has created, designed and printed several covers of books. He died in Milan in 1972.
