Antique Billiard Luraschi, Italy, 1846
An antique billiard jewel built in 1846 and produced by the prestigious Luraschi company of Milan, a company founded in 1710.It is an item of the second half of the 19th century made by Antonio Luraschi furniture maker and builder of billiards to order.
The Antonio Luraschi Factory, supplier of the Royal House, was one of the most quoted companies at the time and received numerous awards. She was awarded in 12 international exhibitions with gold and silver medals in the Dublin Exposition of 1865 and in the Paris Exposition of 1867.
The specimen is a refined model of Italian billiards of wonderful cabinet-making with the traditional six holes and six legs, inlaid in all its parts, foot in ebony with floral pattern inlays.
It is made of walnut briar with a characteristic amber flame that enhances the purity of the lines and quality.
Bushings with gilded bronzes of great value.
